Paint Pens in Purses was founded by artist Shayna Yashuara.  I joined the group in 2008 and have been an active member since my inception.  The all female urban art collective features talented and unique female artists working in multiple disciplines throughout the US.  I began assembling our work into this book in 2009 and it has finally been published with the help and support of our wonderful sponsor Scion and the amazing women it features.
